Baker Hughes has an opening for a Warehouse - Shipping, and Receiving Specialist for 1std Shift supporting Completions and Wellbore Intervention at the Emmott Road facility in Houston, TX. In this role responsibilities include receiving inbound material, managing material in the warehouse including stocking and picking, and packing outbound shipments.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming receipts safely and verify paperwork with physical components
• Pull, pack, and ship finished goods ensuring customers receive the correct items
• Stock or pull large quantity of parts with precision ensuring physical inventory matches SAP records
• Complete material transactions in a timely and accurate manner in SAP
• Ensure items are safely transported or loaded when shipping, receiving, or delivering materials within the site
• Always maintain good housekeeping in work area
• Read and comprehend safety rules, quality procedures, and any other operation instructions given

Fuel your passion:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to operate computers and machines with digital controls or outputs
• SAP experience related to inventory control, warehouse, shipping, or receiving
• Thorough understanding and ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other material moving equipment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible – willing to learn new skills and support with whatever task is needed
• Must be able to work1st shift and overtime including weekends based on business need
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Desired Characteristics:

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
• In-depth knowledge of processing receipts or shipments
• Familiarity with Completions and Wellbore Intervention product
