RN - ICU Job at Whitecap Search
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking Critical Care Nurses for an on-going contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
- Evaluate and monitor the patient’s progress
- Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
- Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members
- Begin treatment and monitor doses
- Maintain patient records
- Under general supervision, demonstrates ability in handling nurse problems and an expanded group of nursing practices
- Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations
- Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs)
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current New Jersey State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty
- Cardiac experience is highly preferred
- CCRN is highly preferred
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- CCRN Certification preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Vent experience preferred
