We currently support 34 physician practices located throughout Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten-Island as well as Westchester and Orange Counties.

We are looking for an Applications Support Specialist to enhance our team!

Th Application Support Specialist’s responsibilities include, providing technical and functional support relating to various applications and other system level software. Additionally, the other on boarding and training of new medical practices. This role requires a critical thinker with an eye for detail who has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be both a strong independent worker as well as a strong team player. Flexibility, professionalism, good communication skills, and the ability to train are crucial for this role.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday vary between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Requirements
:

  • Provide support for issues, triage/resolution for clinical and support staff users.
  • Develops/assists with account management and ongoing training of various office users.
  • Evaluate clients’ workflows, documents and procedures for implementation and customized follow-up training.
  • Assist with special “out-of-the-box” technologically initiatives and clinically forward projects.
  • Correct errors and modify system configurations as necessary during the support cycle.
  • Perform configuration changes, acceptance testing and training regarding upgraded systems,
  • Some night and weekend remote support may be required.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Must reside in GA, IN, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TX, VT, or WV

Experience and Education
:
  • Must have minimum of 1 year of work experience in EMR/EHR implementation in a healthcare setting
  • Understanding of clinical workflows within an EMR required. GE/Athena Centricity Practice Solutions experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of athenaPractice (formerly CPS), Link Logic, Sure Scripts Patient Portal, QVera Interface Engine, Phreesia, Solution Reach a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel required.
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.

Compensation &
Benefits offered :
Compensation: $30 - $35 per hour commensurate with experience
(You must work a minimum of 30 hours a week to be eligible for benefits)
