Our organization is currently seeking a motivated and organized individual to work as an apprentice under the instruction of our Lead Optician. The ideal candidate will have retail experience and a strong commitment to customer service. We are willing to sponsor your apprenticeship and pay for all fees associated with your program with the condition that you will work at our office for 2 years after completion of your program.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with eyeglasses and contact lenses.
- Accurately and quickly fill prescriptions.
- Help customers select frames and lenses.
- Accurately measure customer's eyes and eyeballs.
- Accurately test customer's vision.
- Fill prescriptions and accurately measure glasses.
- Accurately determine what lens prescription the customer needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
