Main Office Receptionist & EdLT Administrative Assistant

Full-time/Part-time: Full-time

Pay Range: $28-$32/hour (depending on experience)

Reports to: Principal

Classification: Non-Exempt

Position Summary

The Main Office Receptionist welcomes and screens all guests, coordinates daily substitution assignments and processes student paperwork for a number of departments on campus.

Duties and Specific Responsibilities

  • Oversee the smooth running of the main office.
  • Receive phone calls and greet visitors.
  • Provide administrative support to EdLT members.
  • Schedule the full-time substitute teachers and assign substitution duties to faculty on call.
  • Distribute and collect student permission slips and retreat letters for Community Engagement and Campus Ministry. Maintain records for both programs.
  • Order and keep office and teacher supplies stocked (this includes paper and products for duplicating and office machines).
  • Coordinate service with outside vendors (i.e. Office Depot, Costco, Linens supplier).
  • Manage the budget and keep accurate records of office supply expenses.
  • Program and manage schoolwide bells.
  • Oversee the distribution of incoming mail, process outgoing mail, and bill departments for postage.
  • Assist with Lantern Locker sales.
  • Collaborate with VP for Student Services to develop faculty supervision assignments.
  • Issue work permits and maintain records.
  • Issue student parking permits and maintain student car registration records.

Education & Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The items below represent the education, and experience required or preferred.

  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • A willingness to be an active, enthusiastic member of the Presentation community.
  • Strong Google Suite skills, and familiarity with PowerSchool.
  • Excellent organization, verbal and written skills, as well as outstanding interpersonal skills.
