Data Entry Clerk Job at Nationwide Testing Association Inc
This is a Customer Service position that will allow for growth and advancement. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. The company will rely on you for having accurate, quality, and updated data entry that directly serves our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Transfer data from paper formats into computer files and transfer digitally received files into systems using a standard keyboard and mouse.
- Type in data provided correctly.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents ensuring accuracy.
- Update existing data.
- Retrieve data from systems, electronic files, or websites as requested.
- Sort and organize files after entering data to ensure quality control.
- Answer telephone calls providing Customer Service to clients, routing the caller appropriately if needed.
Skills Required:
- Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 10 and higher based computer navigation, function, and terminology.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Working knowledge of basic office equipment.
- Good command of English, both oral and written customer service skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- High school degree or equivalent.
Paid vacation/sick days (PTO’s), Paid Holidays, Access to Health Insurance and 401K Plan with matching funds. No weekends.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm Friday 8am-2pm
Each employee is started on a 90 probation period, after the successful completion of the probationary period, you will have the opportunity to receive a raise based on individual performance. There is opportunity for timely financial increase based on the individual's growth and performance within the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $12.00 hour for training and $13.00 for remainder of probationary period. Additional increase available after completion of probationary period.
