Achatz Handmade Pie Company is a Michigan Company that started small and now is growing exponentially. If you live in the Metro Detroit Area you may have seen one of their Retail locations and crashed Grandmas party with a pie that’s better than hers (just joking we know all grandmas make good pie too). So with that said, naturally we were excited to film this short and to the point instructional video for owner Wendy Achatz. This was a 6 hour shoot done in one day, and it was possibly the most delicious shoot we have ever done. See all I can think about is PIE when I watch this! John Schlarbaum had other aspirations aside from being a successful mystery and crime author. John wanted to open up his own bookstore and spread the love of books among people of all kinds. He started with a home and converted it into a beautiful little shop that has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Tyler directed and shot this promotional video for John so that he would be able to share the video and put it on local television to attract customers and fellow book-lovers. With its playful attitude showing people of all ages enjoying the store and a wonderful narration by John himself, this video turned out to be beautifully shot, and well executed piece of promotional material.
