JOB SUMMARY

The Brownwood Hotel and Spa in the Villages, FL is seeking enthusiastic Restaurant Servers for our Fine Dining Wolfgang Puck Kitchen + Bar. The Server provides table service to restaurant guests by taking orders for food and beverages, delivering orders to the table, and ensuring that guests have a pleasant dining experience.

This position requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Prior hotel experience is preferred, but not required. Applicant needs to have outstanding customer service skills to be considered for the position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as a server preferred.
• Must successfully complete restaurant’s training course.
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep your area organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
• Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.

PHYSICAL ENVIORNMENT

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
