Location, Springfield Illinois Or Lafayette Indiana (Not a travelling role)

What you’ll do:

• Performs preventive, predictive, and repair maintenance work tasks on plant equipment & Wind turbines
• Responsible for the safe, proper, and efficient operation of all machinery and related equipment
• Diagnose equipment problems,report abnormal conditions to management, and prepare detailed work requests for plant & Turbine defects
• Inspect plant and equipment, including carrying out scheduled plant checks, and prepare necessary reports and log entries; ensure maintenance requests are completed to a satisfactory standard; assist in planning, organizing, and executing unit outages for inspections, overhauls, repairs, and cleaning
• Responsible for interfacing with the Shift Lead Supervisor(s) to ensure proper operation andmaintenance of the plant equipment
• Assist with preparation and administration of Operations, Maintenance, and HS&E procedures and reports. Maintain accurate records while monitoring and maintaining Plant equipment and systems
• Master a shift turnover process to ensure a seamless transfer of information to the oncoming shift
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain and enhance skills required to perform duties and assist in the training of others
• Other duties as assigned by management

What you bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to qualify, through in-house and on the job training.
• Ability to use analytical judgment to plan and perform diversified work, making decisions within prescribed limitations
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and take direction from others.
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts as needed
• Ability to work overtime, as well as, any schedule including nights and weekends
• Must be able to achieve competent technical abilities in one of the following crafts: Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Electrician, or Instrument & Control Technician

• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license / clean driving record
• Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
• Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $80,000.00 per year
