About Language to Literacy:
Language to Literacy is an educational tutoring firm that has been providing in-person and virtual multi-sensory reading intervention and academic tutoring for all grades and all subjects since 2017. We specialize in one-on-one & small-group tutoring and Extended School Year programming. Our in-home, school based and virtual programs offer personalized programs to fit the needs of all learners. All of our tutors are certified educators. Our tutors assess what are the students’ particular needs and we customize the learning experience to give students the best possible outcomes. We are looking for skilled, certified teachers to join our staff.

What We Are Looking For:
- Tutors that love children and want to engage in helping them with their learning experience.
- BA or BS degree in Special Education, Reading Specialist, or related Education field; Advanced degree preferred.
- Training in an evidence-based, multisensory, structured literacy program, such as Orton-Gillingham or Wilson Reading. Certification preferred.
- Tutors in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware Counties.
- Strong working knowledge of technology.
- PA Certified teachers that are patient, responsive, passionate and educators.
Requirements:
- State Teaching Certification
- Updated Clearances: FBI, State Police Criminal Records Check, Child Abuse, Act 168 and Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training
- 2 years teaching or tutoring experience
- Open availability to tutor a minimum of 2 hours per week.
- Reliable transportation required for in person tutoring sessions.
- Reliable technology (WiFi, computer) for virtual tutoring sessions.
