JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a part-time orthodontic treatment coordinator for our west Gresham office. Work days are 7:30am-5:00pm Wednesday & Fridays, flexible hours on Thursdays. Applicants must be fluent in Spanish. In this position you have your own private office with windows. We are happy to train anyone who is new to orthodontics but exhibits great potential!

We are a privately-owned, single-location orthodontic office located just west of Gresham, in the Rockwood neighborhood.

We aim to provide excellent, affordable orthodontic treatment with friendly and personal customer service in both English & Spanish.

A majority of our patients prefer to communicate in Spanish, and therefore it is essential that applicants for this position are proficient in spoken Spanish.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Someone who enjoys meeting new people and making conversation, is fluent in Spanish, is energetic and comfortable with the "sales" aspect of this position, eager to learn, and wants to establish a professional home at our office.

WHAT ARE THE BASIC JOB DUTIES?

Managing new patient consultations on Wednesdays and Fridays. Consultations involve taking patient records (photos, radiographs, etc), taking notes during the doctor's clinical exam, recording notes in the patient's electronic chart, and presenting payment options.

Following up with potential new patients on the phone with the ultimate goal of scheduling the patient to start orthodontic treatment (for this reason, the treatment coordinator should feel comfortable with the ”sales and marketing” aspect of the position).

New patient consultations are scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays and begin at 7:30am and conclude around 5:00pm. On Thursdays, the treatment coordinator's hours are more flexible (3-6 hours) and would involve basic administrative duties like finishing notes, scheduling appointments, making follow-up phone calls, filing patient records, etc.

WHAT WOULD YOU GET PAID?

If you are new to the orthodontic field but we perceive that you have potential to learn quickly and excel in this position, your hourly rate would begin at $19 and could increase after a 3 month performance review. Bonuses would be given each month to reflect the number of new patients started. Additional raises would be given on hiring anniversaries.

If you have previous experience as an orthodontic treatment coordinator and/or sales and marketing, and we think you'd be a great addition to our team, hourly rate could range from $23-$27 depending prior experience, knowledge/skills in the dental/orthodontic field, eagerness & creative efforts contributing to the growth and success of our office.

Fridays are our busiest clinic day, so it is important that this works with your schedule

In this position, you would log about 20-28 hours per week

We are unable to provide health insurance for staff at this time

Light housekeeping duties are shared by all staff members
