POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Warehouse Worker II
Pay Scale 15.00 – 20.00 an hour
Department: Warehouse
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Report To: Production / Warehouse Manager
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for performing the tasks involved with all aspects of the warehouse. This includes building sets, packaging parts, labeling with correct part number and lot number correctly placing in stock location with the current operating system. Shipping, receiving, distributing and inventory control of materials and parts within the warehouse area.
Essential Functions:
- Pick, pack and ship customer orders accurately and in the timeframes required
- Checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices
- Putting stock away in the warehouse
- Working with carriers to load pallets of product
- Updating computer system with shipping and receipt activity
- Ensuring packages are 100% on time and 100% accurate for customer shipments
- Noting damage on incoming freight
- Interpret packing slips and accurately enter information into database
- Use scales to calculate the cost of shipping and add to invoice
- Receive inventory and non-inventory items against purchase orders
- Manage inventory of product stored in the warehouse; ensure inventory accuracy
- Update UPS Worldwide and FedEx computer system with shipping activity.
- Assist with cycle counts and full counts of inventory
- Completing damage reports when necessary
- Packaging finished products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
- Staging finished products for loading for UPS or FedEx
- Unloading product from truck
- Moving parts to warehouse bulk storage
- Moving waste to dumpsters or carton compactor
- Operating within standard operating procedures and Job Safety
- Operating forklift or pallet jack
- Locking gates at dock area when not in use
- Maintaining boxes/bags in work area and replenishment when necessary
- Ability to work in the following areas: set build, packaging, shipping and receiving
- Ability to work closely with other departments
- Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- One (1) year warehouse experience
- Test to a Level 8 in English and Math
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school education
- AS400 experience
- Microsoft D365 experience
- Familiar with proper picking and packaging methods
- Experience with piston engines and components
- Valid drivers license and good driving record
- Experience with UPS/FedEx online software is desirable

The noise level in the work environment is usually low. Limited exposure might exceed 90 DBA where hearing protection maybe necessary per OSHA standards
