Carolina Pottery is looking for a capable Warehouse Manager for our company's warehouse operations in West Columbia, SC. We need an ambitious hardworking professional with leadership and organizational skills. The Warehouse Manager will supervise the receipt, dispatching and storage of merchandise in our warehouse. The Warehouse Manager will oversee, train and evaluate staff.

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

• Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Implementing operational policies and procedures.
• Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Ensuring safety of staff.
• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
• Assisting with deliveries when required.

Warehouse Manager Requirements:

• 5+ years Warehouse Management experience.
• 2+ years Retail experience.
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Dropbox, inventory control practices and logistics.
• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Outstanding communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license for 10+ years and clean driving record with no moving violations.
• 3+ years of driving a box truck.
• Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time, working in hot or cold conditions.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
