ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Bank Operations & Customer Experience

  • Develops marketing goals and objectives that are measurable and aligned with the Bank’s strategic plan
  • Develops and monitors departmental budgets for reaching the financial institution’s marketing goals and objectives
  • Oversees project plans and is responsible for successful project management with the Marketing Department
  • Maintains branding standards throughout the Bank including, but not limited to, approval of all collateral seen by customers to make certain it is in line with marketing standards
  • Maintains website, literature, brochures and other marketing materials that list current products and services for customers and ensures the availability and correctness of this material
  • Assists in the coordination and planning of corporate events

Business Development

  • Develops and prioritizes short-term and long-term marketing, advertising, and public relations and digital strategies that will promote all services and products favorable for the Bank
  • Utilizes and comprehends digital marketing and digital marketing strategies
  • Ensures that all marketing materials are in compliance with applicable regulations
  • Utilizes email marketing services (i.e., Salesforce Pardot) to create, execute, evaluate, and fine-tune email marketing initiatives
  • Works closely with the Bank’s Business Intelligence team, analyzing customer data to determine trends, activity and to evaluate campaign performance
  • Recommends new products and services, monitors competitors, and tracks changes in the competitive landscape
  • Coordinates public relations and philanthropic donations/events with a marketing component
  • Maintains contacts and knowledge base of marketing skills within and outside of the financial institution, promoting services and products, exchanging information and keeping abreast of the issues, trends and developments of the banking industry
  • Develops and nurtures solid relationships with multiple communications-oriented vendors including advertising, print promotional, creative services, public relations, website management, and signage agencies

  • Maintains current industry knowledge
  • Creates and fosters an inclusive team environment
  • Provides recognition to individuals and teams in support of the Banks strategic goals
  • Prepares and delivers performance evaluations, makes compensation recommendations, and provides assistance with goal-setting in an effort to develop staff

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing (or equivalent experience) required
  • Supervisory experience
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to collect, analyze and present data
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Flexible and able to adapt to change
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite- Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Word Press, Acrobat in addition to Excel and PowerPoint
  • Expertise in social media and digital marketing
  • Banking experience preferred, but not required
