Our client, North American Banking Company, a locally-owned and operated bank, is hiring Universal Bankers to join their growing and value-driven team. Universal Bankers provide assistance to bank customers including the promotion and sale of appropriate bank products and services.
Universal Banker positions available in the Maple Grove and Edina locations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Promoting and selling consumer and business deposit products by interviewing customers to determine their needs. Upon receipt of deposit application, proceeding with appropriate product procedure, completing necessary paperwork to ensure that customers’ deposit needs are met in a courteous, timely manner.
- Actively participating in bank promotions and activities, contributing to the achievement of bank established goals.
- Referring business loans, mortgage loans, and investment prospects to the appropriate sales representative within the bank.
- Participating in business development activities such as officer call programs, community organizations and special events sponsored by the bank.
- Maintaining teller cash drawer to assist customers when necessary, following cash handling and balancing guidelines as specified in the Retail Operations Manual.
- Performing other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. If you have solid work history (some longevity on your jobs) and are quick to learn new things, we are also interested in talking with you!
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, ITI Software, E-Z Teller Software, Account Processor Plus Software.
- Knowledge of applicable bank compliance policies; Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, regulation DD, Regulation Z, RESPA, and HMDA.
Universal Bankers work M-F 8am-5pm, and one Saturday per month at most locations 9am-noon, with overtime paid.
