UI/Web Designer Job at Foremost Media, Inc
We are looking for a knowledgeable UI/Web Designer who will be able to work with a team of artistic people and coordinate resources in an effort to create a unique design experience with the target audience in mind. This position will meet with internal and external teams to discuss and establish project objectives, stay up to date on current trends, stay up to date on the target demographic, and coordinate with the sales team to create content demonstrating expertise in knowledge. You should possess an understanding of graphic design concepts, excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to maximize the talents of their team.
To succeed as the UI/Web Designer, you should be a creative and communicative multitasker with exceptional project and time management skills. You should be punctual, perceptive, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be detail-oriented with a great mind for understanding the role of design on the success of the website, not just from our clients perspective, but their customers'.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work with other members of the art department to evaluate client needs and develop strategies
- Create digital assets based on project needs including but not limited to web page design, social media assets, print material, and custom imagery
- Look for ways to improve design department processes
- Coordinate with marketing team on modern tactics through design
- Coordinate with development team on improving design tactics
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in graphic design with a supporting portfolio
- Deep understanding of UX/UI design patterns.
- High level of accountability and motivation
- Strong Interpersonal, time and project management, presentation, leadership, and communication skills
- Creativity and ability to delegate responsibilities
- Receptiveness to feedback and adaptability
- Ability to meet deadlines
Education and Training:
A college degree in graphic design or related field is preferred but not required. Other combinations of training and/or experience, which can be demonstrated to result in possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed to perform the tasks of this position will also be considered.
