The Sony Pictures Entertainment Trainee program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. This Spring Trainee position is from January through May 26th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday at our Culver City location.

Post Production Sound Services - Providing Sound Editing, ADR, Foley, Scoring, and Mixing / Dubbing for film and television
| What You’ll Do:
We are looking for a Trainee in the Sony Pictures Sound Department, who has a deep desire to participate in our industry as a mixer, sound editor, mix technician, or engineer. As a Trainee, they will experience and learn the post-production sound process. At the completion of the Traineeship, they will have a greater understanding of the entire workflow and have developed a direction toward their professional career. The Sony Pictures Sound Department will expose the Trainee to all aspects of putting sound to film and television. When not engaged with the creative aspects, the Trainee will assist the technicians and engineers with processes.
| What You Have:
Avid S6 and Pro Tools user Relevant education in a related field
Recent graduate student with a degree in Post-Production Sound, Music Technology, or Digital Signal Processing
Received an Avid Pro Tools User certification.
A good work ethic and a positive attitude toward learning in a fast-paced environment are essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
