Kidzland Little Chute is looking for a CO-Lead Teacher in our Three Year Old Room

The ideal candidate would be an energetic person who loves children, has a positive attitude, works and communicates well with others, and has experience in a licensed group child care center.

*Monday Through Friday - no weekends*

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Understands and implements both the center's philosophy and developmentally appropriate practices in environment set-up, lesson planning and child interactions.
• Develops and executes programs/activities designed to encourage the social, physical and intellectual development of children in the group which, in some cases, may require individual tailoring to various cultural differences.
• Assesses each child's development and recognizes problems of a cultural and/or developmental nature which may be exhibited by certain children. When necessary, devises positive approaches to overcoming problems.
• Ensures that an appropriate and equal level of physical attention and care is given to each child in a matter consistent with its needs, dependent upon age and stage of development.
• Ensures that all activities are conducted in an equitable manner providing equal opportunities and access to equipment to all children in the group.
• Assists children in learning to adapt to and cope with real-life situations, as well as develop appropriate habits in such activities as eating, dressing, napping, toilet training and personal hygiene.
• Ensures that the group of children is adequately trained in emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Establishes a positive rapport with children's grownups and co-teachers and conducts family conferences when necessary.
• Responsible for the arrangement, safety, appearance, cleanliness, and learning environment of the classroom.
• Participates in recommended training programs, staff meetings and keeps certificates current.
• Refers problems to the daycare Administrator or Director for advice or resolution.
• Gets down to children's level to hug, hold and meet other physical needs of children both indoors and outdoors.

This is a Lead Teacher position. A WI Registery level of 9 or higher is preferred, but we are willing to train the ideal candidate
