Job Purpose:

The Parts Technical supervisor will manage the parts technical information group and administer parts technical information and catalog systems, including but not limited to, Electronic Parts Catalog, Online Parts Catalog, OE Dealer Information Network and the Catalog Master System, SDS downloads and AMOS updates.

The Parts Technical Supervisor performs the critical task of ensuring high customer/dealer satisfaction by leading the parts technical information group in supporting MPA inquiries regarding the part master, supersession, and the online catalog.

The objective is to provide the most accurate information available by providing industry leading updates and user-friendly design in order to promote customer satisfaction and increased sales of Genuine OE Parts & Accessories to wholesalers and independent repair facilities.

Key Accountabilities

• Key Liaison to H/Q and Parts Catalogs to resolve dealer inquiries regarding catalog data and illustration issues (20%)
• Provide leadership in the parts technical information group by mentoring and provide direction to team members, assist with part to model, part attribute and supersession questions (20%)
• Inspect and confirm Technical Service Bulletins (TSB’s) and Parts Bulletin requisitions for part number accuracy and vehicle application correct model (10%)
• Control, coordinate, and ensure accurate and timely updates of local parts information to all catalog database sources. (10%)
• Lead Improvement projects to upgrade or expand on current catalog transmission protocols (10%)
• Proactively find and resolve issues with current supersession logic to more effectively allocate dealer orders and reduce obsolescence (10%)
• Work with systems and suppliers to develop clean process to input correct weight and dimension fields at part number registration (10%)
• Perform special projects and ancillary duties as requested by Management (10%)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
