Technical Senior Systems Engineer – MSP
We are currently seeking a Technical Senior Systems Engineer – MSP candidate to be part of a growing Managed Service Provider firm. The ideal Technical Senior Systems Engineer – MSP for this position will have 3-5+ years of experience deploying and supporting small-to-medium business environments, including servers, networking, virtualization, and the cloud. The Technical Senior Systems Engineer – MSP, Azure will support clients through migrating from on-prem solutions to cloud solutions.
The Technical Senior Systems Engineer – MSP must have excellent customer service skills and a desire to increase knowledge of cloud technology, virtualization, and networks for small-to-medium business solutions. The Technical Senior Systems Engineer – MSP candidate will support projects supporting O365/Azure deployments, virtualizing servers via Hyper-V/VMware, Server/Desktop support, and Networking configurations (SonicWall and Cisco Meraki) support.
Technical Senior Systems Engineer – MSP Experience:
- End-User Support / Desktop Support: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktop, and mobile device troubleshooting
- MS Office 365 administration with domain synchronization and migrations
- MUST HAVE 3 + YEARS OF MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER EXPERIENCE
- Server 2008/2008R2, Server 2012/2012R2, Server 2016, VMware, Hyper-V
- Exchange, SQL, Active Directory, DNS, File Server, Domain Controller
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms as well as Active Directory, and Group Policy, good if you are familiar with Citrix
- Azure deployments
- Active Directory and Group Policy creation
- O365/G-suite/Azure Migrations
- Coordinating and implementing client/server applications architecture
- VMware and/or Hyper-V experience
- P2V migration experience
- 3+ years of project implementation as a network engineer or network administrator
- Implementing network software and hardware upgrades (Cisco Meraki; SonicWall; Ubiquiti)
- Webroot a plus
- Enterprise-level anti-virus experience
- Configuring and managing firewalls, switches, TCP/IP, LAN / DMZ / WAN, DHCP, DNS
- Routing, Switching and Firewalls, and other network appliances experience
