What will you be doing:

We are looking for a Team Lead to lead in cell culture-based lab activities, schedule laboratory work and supervise a small team of cell culture analysts.

Responsibilities include:

• Organize the workflow of the department and scheduling personnel accordingly
• Act as a coach for employees in the department and perform employee evaluations
• Provide technical support in the laboratory including: Cell culture maintenance, freezing and/or thawing cells, cell enumeration, preparing cell lines for in vivo studies, as well as providing support for preparing CAR T and other cellular therapy agents for dosing
• Participate in meetings with clients as needed to provide organizational or technical assistance.
• Monitor cell growth and compare to historical data
• Update SOPs to reflect procedural changes
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and protocols and data integrity

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant scientific discipline
• Combination of education and/or equivalent relevant experience in college level science courses with laboratory component or working experience

Experience

• Laboratory experience with cell culture/cell line maintenance
• Supervisory or other people leadership experience
