Provide assistance in setting up graduate course computer laboratories, reinforce learning concepts presented by instructor, and assist with grading examinations and assignments.

Essential Functions:

Set-up and use of computer equipment

• Ensure computer equipment and software are setup and functional
• Assist students with use of software programs and completion of classroom exercises/analysis

Course instruction

• Assist instructor with answering student questions
• Reinforce learning concepts presented by instructor
• Assist with grading examinations and assignments

Time requirements

• Be present on all dates specified; arrange for necessary time off prior to session
• Arrive approximately one to one-half hour prior to the class session
• Remain until equipment and supplies are properly stored
• Attend in-service meetings as appropriate

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

B.S/B.A. degree required. M.S. degree preferred in related biomedical science discipline.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Prior teaching experience preferred.
