In 2008, World of Wonder Childcare Center established itself in the SouthWest area of Hoboken. After 8 years, we expanded into our 2nd location. Today, we are getting ready to open our 3rd center. We are proud of our reputation in town and work endlessly at maintaining a loving and fun environment, not just for the children and their parents but also for our staff.

We are hiring four Teachers Assistants. One for each one of our classrooms. We are seeking bright, passionate, dependable people that love children to join our team! We offer an exciting, fun, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment. Experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate. New hires receive on-the-job training.

Who are we looking for?

1- Four Part time Teacher Assistants for

• Baby Room- 6 weeks - 12 months
• Pre Toddler Room - 13 months - 20 months
• Toddler Room- 24 months - 36 months

What will you help us with?

• Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
• Observes all rules and regulations at World of Wonder and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
• Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
• Assist Head Teacher to implement lesson plans and daily classroom schedule.
• Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior.
• Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.
• Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions.
• Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the World Of Wonder Childcare Center.
• Must be available Monday- Friday from 7:30 am - 1 pm. Most important skill- reliable!

What do we require?

1- Willing to obtain CPR & First Aid within the first 30 days.

2- CDA preferred.

2- 7 am - 6:30 pm

3- Closed nights, weekends and 14 major holidays

3- If requested, submit 2 references and schedule a working interview. Working interview takes place Monday- Friday and last 3 hours.
