Carrell & Company, LLC. is hiring a Tax CPA to join our rapidly expanding team. The purpose of this role is to prepare and file client tax returns. Our ideal candidate has at least 1-3 years of accounting and tax experience in public accounting. Accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail are vital to providing excellent customer service to our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Request, collect, and compile all necessary tax documents
• Prepare partnership, s-corporation, trust, and personal income tax returns
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Keep highly organized, updated client files through preset firm guidelines and processes

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing
• QuickBooks experience
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a CPA in public accounting
• Business and personal tax experience
• Exceptional computer skills, including CCH Prosystems, Microsoft Office and databases
• Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
• Team player who can work independently
