Talent Acquisition Specialist


Core Competencies:

  • Recruiting: Manage our Applicant Tracking System for the Holland Branch. Complete phone screenings, schedule and complete interviews.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Assist and process new hires with paperwork and complete electronic onboarding with team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Complete all the necessary steps and critical paperwork for the new hire to be compliant and ready to go day 1.
  • Determined to Deliver: Determine and drive creative ways to attract and retain team members in the Holland area. This may include job fairs, promoting referral bonus opportunities and building partnerships in the area to advertise staffing needs.

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Provide a great experience for team members during the new hire experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Energetic, upbeat, and friendly personality
  • Organized, detailed, and team oriented
  • Proficiency using technology such as Microsoft Office Products
  • Bilingual is a plus

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Fosters positive relationships with candidates/new hires
  • Actively demonstrates commitment to the WMJ’s vision, mission, and values.
  • Continually contributes to process improvement through interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Works very closely with the Talent Coordinator in determining staffing needs and potential hot jobs to fill.

We are seeking a dynamic addition to our small but mighty Human Resources Team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Supervision Received:

  • General Direction: Plans and arranges own work. Uses a wide range of procedures to accomplish assigned objectives. Builds own schedule based on applicant traffic.

Education & Experience:

  • Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience in recruiting or customer service
  • Basic understanding of Human Resource functions and compliance requirements

Job Type: Variable Hour (20-30 hours per week)

Pay: $16.50 to $17.00

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Shift hours will be dependent on interview schedule
