Summary:
In this role, you will work within Kaiser Permanente, a Vizient Provider, as part of the organization’s overall Supply Chain Digital Transformation project. You will develop a framework to support supplier segmentation, strategy development and strategy execution to map suppliers against cost value and risk exposure. You will manage key relationships that include executive sponsorship, Supply Chain Services and the National Product Council Operations, creating strategic approaches to purchasing, insulating the supply chain from risk, and increasing value to support the delivery of high-quality, affordable care for patients.
Responsibilities:
  • Define the end-to-end supplier lifecycle management.
  • Establish a framework that includes the planning and creating of consistent models, processes, and tools for use by internal stakeholders (Direct and Indirect, regardless of stakeholders and matrix) to manage supplier needs.
  • Develop and deploy improvement roadmaps and deepen relationships with key suppliers along with category managers to drive additional product and service opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure supplier satisfaction and fostering relationships with senior supplier executives and operational supplier teams.
  • Work with business executives to identify specific growth opportunities and coordinate specific targeting strategies with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Understand industry trends and the suppliers’ businesses, concerns, successes, and challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of experience in health care related account management, sales, or supply chain required.
  • Demonstrated success leading strategic planning efforts with executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business needs into innovative, actionable plans and new service offerings that advance the business forward.
  • Experience interpreting data, synthesizing knowledge of business trends and insights from data analysis.
  • Familiarity and expertise with “Source to Pay” technology platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua or similar preferred.
  • Experience leading strategic sourcing activities for large IDNs, acute hospitals and non-acute facilities, including surgery centers and long-term care facilities preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to support Pacific Time zone business hours.
Estimated Hiring Range:
$117,600.00 - $175,050.00
