Job Description
Windsor Central Supervisory Union, located in the heart of the Green Mountains, is seeking a licensed Special educator to join our skilled and dedicated middle and high school team. This position is for our Community Classroom and aims to meet the academic and social needs of children with a range of learning and developmental disabilities. Our inclusive approach is achieved through a team based collaboration between the special educator, our dedicated team of paraprofessionals, related services providers, community partners, specialists and family members. Our students participate in school wide programming and classes as well as work in the school and community. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of research based practices in assessment and instruction, experience with collaborative problem solving, trauma based practices, and experience working collaboratively with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals and related services providers. Desired qualities include flexibility, a sense of humor, and the ability to be a team player.

The Woodstock Union High School/Middle School is a school that recognizes and understands the special intellectual, physical, and social/emotional needs of early adolescents. Job Requirements
- Masters Degree Preferred
Demonstrated skill and experience in working with students with disabilities and successfully partnering with and leading paraeducators is required.
Holds or is eligible to hold a Vermont Teaching License with appropriate endorsement.
Copies of transcripts and license(s) must be uploaded to the application for all licensed positions. Successful applicants to licensed positions will be required to provide copies of official transcripts to Human Resources before completion of the hiring process.
