Key Responsibilities

• Pack, record, label, and ship all finished instrument goods for both domestic and international customers;
• Assemble electrical and mechanical instruments and sub-components;
• Perform programming, testing, and debugging of instruments;
• Modify and/or enhance parts by using a variety of soldering techniques and hand and/or power tools, such as solder block or soldering iron;
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with other manufacturing personnel and engineers to support R&D and process improvement activities to meet production goals;
• Provide input on creating new or updating instructions and SOPs;
• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products;
• Adhere to company safety standards and regulations;
• Ensure inventory accuracy by abiding to policies and procedures;
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment;
• Other duties may be assigned.

Experience, Skills, and Education

· High school diploma or equivalent;

· 2+ years of experience in a shipping and receiving role;

· 2+ years of experience in electrical and mechanical assembly;

· Experience with ERP systems for shop floor control;

· Effective written and verbal communicator, typically in English, with employees, vendors, and customers.

· Prior certification for Haz Mat shipping a strong plus and will be required to obtain;

· Able to stand, bend, sit, lift (max 50lbs) and reach as needed to perform the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
