TITLE: Shipping and Receiving Specialist
TYPE: Contract to Hire
LOCATION: Quakertown, PA
ON-SITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: 100% on-site
START DATE: May 2023
SHIFT: M-F, 8 am - 5 pm

We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist who is highly organized and detail-oriented. You will be working in a high-volume environment and will need to be the subject matter expert for all incoming and outgoing packages. Must be somewhat comfortable working with computers as you will be entering inventory data into the inventory tracking system.

Main Responsibilities

• Process all incoming and outgoing packages.
• Ensure that sales orders are being fulfilled correctly with the proper shipments.
• Utilize internal database to track shipments and update inventory. Experience with Salesforce or any other ERP system is a plus.
• Utilize pallet jacks to move material throughout the warehouse and to loading docks.
• Box up equipment and package it for shipping, as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable, dependable, organized, clean
• Must have reliable transportation as this position is not public transit accessible
• Experience in a similar role is a big plus
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. comfortably regularly as well as push a pallet jack that may have a full pallet on it
• Must have basic familiarity with computers with the ability to type at least 20 words per minute. You will be inputting inventory data into a computer so you should have some familiarity with computers
