POSITION SUMMARY:

This position reports directly to the assistant manager or manager, depending upon the size of the retail store. This position is responsible for keeping the store clean, performing water testing, fill pool additive jugs, and helping with customer needs.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Will train. Excellent customer service skills required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:

• To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Perform water balance testing, as needed, for customers.
• Answer phones.
• Help customers with purchases, carrying purchases to the car.
• Ensure store is clean at all times; straighten shelves, dust shelves, keep furniture, displays and counter area clean.
• Breakdown cardboard boxes.
• Stock acid.
• Fill jugs/carry to customer car.
• Report supply shortage.
• Any other duties, as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Ability to answer phones and perform functions on a computer necessary when interacting with customers. Ability to assist customers at times by carrying out purchased items.
