Senior Project Manager Job at LEE & RO, Inc.
LEE + RO has immediate openings in our Walnut Creek Office for senior project managers specializing in water infrastructure projects.
As a Senior Project Manager, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience as a senior manager leading the execution of water infrastructure projects from supervision and design, to directing engineering teams and managing client relationships.
This role offers the candidate the opportunity to manage a variety of mid-to-large-sized, multi-discipline, water and wastewater projects while also establishing and foster positive client relationships and provide technical leadership. The candidates must have experience in successfully supervising water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pump and lift stations, and water/wastewater treatment facilities.
We're looking for energetic, detailed-oriented individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and enjoy a challenge.
Knowledge and experience with local municipalities/agencies/districts in Northern California is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Oversee, perform, and deliver conceptual and biddable documents.
- Develop core sections of project proposals.
- Serve as a client services manager.
- Lead and mentor supporting engineers on the project.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 10 years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated project management experience in water/wastewater.
- BS or MS degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in California.
- Demonstration of strong analytical, excellent verbal and written communications, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing small to mid-size groups, multi-disciplined, water/wastewater projects with construction values ranging from under $1M to several million dollars in the public or private sector.
- Positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant in employee development.
- Demonstrated success working on multi‐disciplinary engineering projects.
- Proficient with MS Office.
