ABOUT THE ROLE

• This is a high-visibility & high-impact position that offers career-shaping opportunities.
• Relocation support will be provided.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

At a minimum, the candidate must have:

• 8+ years of progressive experience with maintenance or plant engineering,
• 3+ years of people management, preferable in a CPG environment
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, engineering (strongly preferred), or equivalent years of experience; (CMRP certification preferred)
• Strong project management and project execution skills

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Will have initial responsibilities for four direct reports (three supervisors and a maintenance planner) and indirectly for a team of 24 maintenance and reliability technicians once fully staffed.
• Leading the staged transitions of the manufacturing plant through the installation of state-of-the-art equipment and adoption of reliability programs to maintain their operational excellence.
• Point of view on the composition of a best-in-class maintenance program – from onboarding, org design, to culture building – and how to create plans and programs to achieve that vision.
• Be an effective change leader, setting a positive, can-do outlook on our future and coach new and existing team members.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Led the rollout of significant new equipment within a facility, particularly those focused on automation
• Guided a maintenance organization through a transformation from a reactive mindset to a culture of preventative, proactive, and predictive maintenance
• Evidence of starting and finishing maintenance programs, whether people or technical, to assess their impact and value to your prior organization.
• Process improvement within a food or CPG manufacturing environment

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
