ROLE: Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect

LOCATION: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Drives the business through migration and optimization of applications and infrastructure by developing the strategy and architecture.
• Develop and maintain the standards for tools within Azure by participating in the Cloud Governance workgroup.
• Create the cloud migration roadmap.
• Articulate clearly and in understandable terms to the technical teams, stakeholders, vendors and subcontractors.
• Lead and direct a team of on and off shore members and hold accountable for their performance in relation to migration and optimization tasks.
• Responsible for the satisfaction of customers for product strategy, requirements, environment and compatibility.
• Create documents including solutions scoping, options analysis, logical and physical architecture diagrams, 'as is' and 'to be' models for existing systems.
• Vendor collaboration on current state. Ensure strategy and vision are supportive of current state.
• Optimize existing infrastructure and eliminate repetitive applications/tools.

Qualifications needed:

• Bachelor's degree in IS management, Computer Science or Systems Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
• EXPERTISE with Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and tools is REQUIRED.
• 6+ years of experience is REQUIRED in the areas of infrastructure, database, and networking architecture for highly available, internet-scale applications.
• 5+ years of progressive growth in information technology responsibilities.
• 6+ years of experience with designing and implementing complex IT solutions which should include microservices architecture and cloud based solutions.
• Stellar communication and presentation skills in order to articulate information in an understandable way to Stakeholders, Leaders, Enterprise Architects, IT Management and Developers is REQUIRED.
• Software and ETL development, integration, configuration methods, and PM office reporting.
• Skilled with BI tools; SAS, PowerBI, Cognos.
• Familiar with UML software design tools.
• Experience in the healthcare insurance industry would be a plus
• Experience with Netezza, IBM Infosphere and Data Stage products is a plus.
• Experience with Trizetto’s Facets claims adjudication engine is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
