The main objective of the position is to assist the GSO Director of Compliance in continuing to develop the Governance and Compliance presence within UMG as it relates to cyber security in the areas of physical, digital, and vendor IT risks.
How you'll LEAD:
Cyber Security Program Governance:
The GSO Senior Compliance Analyst will provide assistance in designing, establishing, and updating processes, risks, controls, and policies in the maturation of our Cyber Security Program.
This includes:
  • Having working knowledge of industry cyber security frameworks such as NIST CSF and CIS
  • Participation in enterprise risk and control development
  • Creating and updating IT Security Policies and process flow documents
  • Assist in providing cyber security focused training to business and control owners
  • Testing the efficacy of cybersecurity defenses, review security controls, and make recommendations about improvements
  • Coordination of GSO specific Audit activities between Global Technology and Internal Audit
  • Remaining up to date on potential cybersecurity threats, emerging practices and technologies, and policies and regulations that apply to cybersecurity
How you'll CREATE:
The Cyber Security Program also includes the UMG Internal Security Reviews. As the Senior Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the GSO Director of Compliance in defining and executing security reviews across the business of UMG.
GSO Vendor Risk Tracking:
A key component of our Cyber Security Program is tracking and monitoring IT vendor related risks. As the Senior Compliance Analyst, you will participate in coordinating, centralizing, and tracking IT vendor risks.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, or information systems
  • Years of Experience: Individuals need 4-6 years of experience in general information technology or auditing information technology security controls
  • Working knowledge and application of cyber security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, COBIT, etc.
  • Preferred certifications: CISA, CISSP, CSX-P, or other related cyber security certifications
