Responsible for employing facilitation techniques when discussing requirements with clients. Controls changes to the requirements documentation, and communicates with clients using data and process models to clarify and validate requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Partners with the client to understand the client’s work process or processes, business goals, etc. in order to adequately gathering information documenting requirements. Ensures that the client understands the work process and how enhanced or new applications may improve that process. Identifies desired results and provides an understanding of the opportunity or problem.
• Publishes, distributes and ensures sign-off of the Business Requirements Document and controls all changes through a formalized change request process. Responsible for controlling changes to the requirements documentation.
• Creates models to identify, validate, document and communicate requirements and organize them into a comprehensive and understandable “to-be” state to ensure that the client understands both the requirements and the results of changes to the system(s).
• Tests solutions to validate whether requirements have been met. Develops test plans, test scripts and test conditions based on the Business and System Requirements.
• Provides end-user support in post-deployment phases. Assesses and evaluates all feedback to ensure that the requirements necessary to correct issues are addressed.
• Understands and identifies the correct resources to help define and validate both requirements and specifications.
• Identifies opportunities for improving efficiency/reliability of application portfolio and associated business processes.
• Interfaces with vendor and WAG developers to answer application and requirements questions and resolve issues related to work assignments

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in gathering / documenting requirements, modeling and providing general client / IT liaison support.
• At least 2 years of experience with technical design process and models.
• At least 2 years of experience with requirements Specification and development: Process/Functional Requirements definition methods, JAD/RAD sessions, Use case development, Process flow diagrams.
• Experience SDLC / SW development processes (RUP, Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience using consulting skills and developing client relationships.
• Experience using analytical skills, tools and techniques to investigate information and to draw conclusions.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in CS or MBA
