Job Title: Senior Accounts Receivable (A/R) Accountant

Transform Partners (dba Mount-It!), the leader in the plasma and LCD TV mounting and consumer electronics is looking for a Senior A/R Accountant for a terrific opportunity to work with a continuously growing, diligent team, in a critical role, with significant room for growth.

Qualifications:

• Education: Accounting Degree or equivalent.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise, MS Office 365 (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Ability to work independently, and with internal and external customers, to resolve discrepancies and similar items in a timely manner.
• Full ownership of the Accounts Receivable function for the Company.
• Preparation of month-end reconciliations with appropriate support and identification of issues or matters outstanding requiring resolution.
• Detail oriented, PC / internet proficient, takes direction well, easy to work with, flexible with a willingness to learn and seeks out more responsibilities after mastering assigned duties and responsibilities.
• Professional environment for privately held company.

Job Duties and Requirements:

• Oversee all Accounts Receivables for the Company. Full ownership for Posting, Collection, and Reconciliations for approximately eight major retailers and other general customers.
• Month End General Ledger Reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and issues timely, including proactively resolving accounting issues with minimal guidance or oversight.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Prepare and file Federal and State sales and use tax reports, property taxes and other miscellaneous sales tax requirements as necessary.
• Demonstrates sound business judgement and time management skills.
• Assist with new accounting software implementation.
• Special projects and other tasks as assigned.
