The Senior Accountant for Corporate Accounting will be responsible for booking consolidation related entries such as intercompany activities and elimination, conduct account reconciliations and review FX translations, assist with preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting guidelines and US GAAP, and overall assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities. The Senior Accountant will also learn aspects of company revenue recognition and assist with analysis and revenue reporting as it pertains to SEC 10Q/K filings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Corporate Accounting is a hybrid role to include supporting both consolidation and revenue activities
- Analyze and help resolve intercompany variances on a monthly basis by preparing the intercompany variance report and reaching out to relevant parties to ensure proper matching of transactions
- Prepare journal entries such as booking revenue, intercompany activity, and elimination entries on a monthly basis
- Conduct GL reconciliation and reconcile and research complex and high-risk accounts from the general ledger
- Help with review and distribution of official company FX rates and consolidated financial statements on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Assist with quarter-end and year-end closing activities including preparation of 10Q/K revenue schedules, audit committee presentations and help ensure performance of relevant Sox controls
- Assist international subsidiaries with translation and revaluation analysis and other complex accounting projects
- Analyze data and create monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required –
- Working knowledge of USGAAP, Foreign Currency, Consolidation
- Knowledge of Sox and internal control processes
- Comfortable with Accounting systems (Workday Financials preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Minimum of 5 years Related work experience
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s in accounting or finance
