We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant (Accounting Underfill) to team up with our Chief Financial Officer at the Caring for Others corporate office.

Requirements:

• Preparing financial statements for CFO review using QuickBooks
• Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses
• Prepare weekly and/or monthly billing invoices to client/agencies
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed asset schedules
• Oversee payroll accuracy and conduct periodic audits
• Posting Payroll journal entries
• Assist with yearend audits
• Manage our receipt/recordkeeping system
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned

Additional:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online
• 3+ years accounting experience required; CPA firm experience preferred
• Possess a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Confident working independently and using initiative to guide through challenges
• Team Player – able to assist members of the team with questions
• Be someone who enjoys the consistency of the monthly accounting cycle

Monday through Friday schedule, no tax season hours, remote work is a possibility.

Benefits:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
