American Service Company is looking to add a Commercial Electronic Security Technician.to our growing team.

We provide full-service design, construction, testing and maintenance services for all types of water-based fire protection systems. Our technicians are skilled at installation and maintenance of every kind of water control valve and fire pump system—electric and diesel. Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electronic security systems (burglar alarm), access control system, CCTV systems, and related components in small to large commercial settings.
• Deploy and support systems connected to computer networks and cloud services. Perform basic to advanced setup on network connected security devices.
• Reads plans, blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation requirements; Interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Always communicates effectively with customers, coworkers, and end users with professionalism and courtesy.
• We value technicians who can solve problems and think outside the box while providing high quality installations and repairs.

Qualifications.

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the installation and maintenance of security systems and equipment.
• Knowledge of basic electronics and/or electrical practices.
• Basic computer and networking skills.
• Communication Proficiency.
• Ethical Conduct.
• Detail oriented.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
• Work on ladders and lifts.
• Work on foot for eight hours.
• Work in hot/cold weather indoors and outdoors.
• Applicants must be able to pass a background check
