TITLE: Security Officer
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Somerset Collection Security Department is a proprietary security organization.
Full time and Part time positions available.
Shifts available: 12:00pm – 8:30pm & 3:30pm – 12:00am
This is an entry-level position. Starting pay range is $18- $20+ per hour, depending on shift assigned, experience, education and/or other certifications and background.
Benefits are offered to eligible full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, supplemental insurance and 401(k) with profit sharing.
Minimum requirements include 18 years of age, high school diploma or G.E.D. , a valid State of Michigan Operator License with no serious infractions, and no criminal convictions. Higher education, prior military, law enforcement, security, firefighter, or paramedic/EMS experience will garner increased initial hourly wage rate.
Security officers are responsible for the safety of all customers, guests, tenants and employees of Somerset Collection. Additionally, security officers provide customer service and enforce rules and code of conduct to maintain a pleasant experience for shoppers.
