Position: Sales Associate

Description: Earl B. Feiden is a leading Appliance retailer in the greater Capital District. We are currently seeking a Sales Associate in both our Latham and Clifton Park Showrooms. Our Sales team comprise some of the foremost experts in the residential appliance industry. We’re known for superior customer service and product expertise, and we’re looking for a qualified, passionate Sales Associate to join our incredible team. We’re busier than we’ve ever been, with many people leaving the Greater New York Metro area and settling in the Capital Region within the past year.

You will receive a competitive wage plus commission, and bonus pay. We also offer a 401K program with employer matching, and health insurance. We offer comprehensive training programs to new staff and consistently provide new product trainings to keep our team up to date. This is a position that works primarily with the public in our showroom.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert advice to our customers, helping them to pick out appliances that are appropriate to their needs.

Ensure each customer receives outstanding service. Track open orders, and keep customers up to date on product availability and scheduling.

Follow through on all orders from purchase to installation, and be an advocate for customers, communicating with the proper departments to resolve any issues.

Execute daily responsibilities assigned by store management as needed.

Attend on-the-job training to hone product knowledge, and invest in self-directed product knowledge both on and off the clock – we expect you to constantly seek improvement in your position.

Minimum Requirements for Consideration:

3-5 years prior sales experience with good references

Ability to give outstanding customer service

Great attitude and willingness to learn and improve constantly

Ability to work in a team environment

MUST have pleasant customer-focused demeanor and be able to multi-task

Must be able to commit to weekends (5 day work week total)

Compensation: $50,000 - $125,000/year. Sales Associates earn a base hourly wage and commission on each of their sales. In addition, many manufacturers offer sales incentives (spiffs).

Our delivery and service personnel enter between 100 – 110 homes every day! We’re growing month by month, and year by year, and we are in need of some incredible people to help us manage this growth while maintaining the same great service we’ve provided for over 94 years.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
