Who We Are::
A Leader in the Children's Apparel Market for over 50 yrs is in search of a Wholesale Assistant to be a part of our team. You will be primarily responsible for managing the daily sales/production activities for one of our Division heads. You should be able to coordinate with suppliers and vendors and place bulk orders
Who You Are::
You will be responsible for maintaining a long-lasting relationship with the clients and business partners. You should be able to perform regular inventory checks and maintain a record of the same. As a Wholesale Assistant, you should be aware of the sales trends and industry practices. Also, you should own excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
What You'll Do::
- Placing bulk orders and managing the shipment of the same
- Contacting and coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and business partners
- Maintaining long lasting business relationships
- Developing vendor contracts and negotiating its terms and conditions
- Coordinating with the Wholesale Manager to identify sales objectives and goals
- Conducting timely inventory checks
- Executing merchandizing plans
- Developing new market opportunities
- Analyzing sales report and suggesting improvement measures
- Proven work experience in the Apparel Sales department as a Wholesale Assistant
- Basic knowledge of the market trends and industry practices
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good researching and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual
- Ability to manage strict deadlines
- Ability to offer excellent customer service
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Schedule:
- Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate:
- New York, NY 10018: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: One location
