Roofing Estimator Job at Tower Roofing, Inc.
The Estimator is responsible for providing the company with accurate and dependable estimates for all work. The estimator must have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the operation to be able to effectively estimate. The estimator must be able to listen to customers, gather information and submit accurate estimates in a timely manner so customers receive their service on time.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate the cost of labor and material for a construction project.
- Verify that all contractors have the tools and materials needed to complete a project.
- Manage the scheduling of project segments, accounting for the availability of contractors, subcontractors, and material shipments.
- Communicate with other employees to ensure that all logistical details are clear.
- Use advanced math skills to calculate rates and material needs based on customer supplied specifications.
- Work with other estimators to determine pricing, availability, and schedules of jobs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
