Full RN IV Infusion Position Available

Fast paced, three physician Concierge Internal Medicine practice is seeking an RN for a full position. The ideal candidate would be autonomous, self-motivated, and able to multi-task. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills, coupled with exceptional customer service, patient advocacy, and triage skills. Our goal is to continually achieve a high level of success in patient satisfaction and provide the highest quality healthcare to each and every patient. We offer a competitive salary, major paid holidays, Earned PTO, 401K with match. Health benefits are not offered. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Duties of the IV Therapy Nurse at the Burick Center

· Administer three primary nursing services; intravenous therapy, phlebotomy and intramuscular injections using prescribed formula and array of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

· Use electronic medical records to document patients/client visits and infusions/injections that they received.

· Under the provider’s supervision, addresses and answers patients questions and communicates to physician’s any issues or adverse events.

· Exhibits the use of therapeutic communication, exceptional customer service, professionalism, timeliness, efficiency and teamwork in all aspects of work.

· Maintains a level of knowledge conductive to providing high quality, competitive and kind nursing care.

· Assists staff with other jobs duties when time allows.

· Have knowledge and are able to speak about all micronutrients offered through infusion and how they can benefit a person’s health and well-being.

· Have knowledge of Micronutrient testing that is offered through the Burick center and able to guide patients/clients with their IV infusions and supplementations after receiving tests results.

· Placing orders to compounding pharmacies/medical suppliers if needed and know appropriate shipping to receive in a timely manner.

Skills and qualifications

· Licensed as a Registered nurse (RN). Two years of experience as a nurse in an acute care setting. One year administering injections. Experience and high comfort level with using a computer to document. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse community and provide care from a non-judgmental perspective.

· BLS certified

· ALCS preferred

· Outgoing personality and enjoy working with people.

· Exceptional multitasker.

· Comfortable with all IV/phlebotomy related activities.

· Meets all state requirements and must be licensed and in good standing to practice medicine.

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

· High ethics and integrity.

· Ability to work independently and with a smart team.

· Willingly adheres to all policies and procedures and maintains compliance at all times.

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
