Families First is looking for an individual to join our team as a Regional Director.

This position will serve the city of Waterloo in Dubuque, Cedar, Jackson, Clinton, Scott, Muscatine, Henry, Louisa, Lee, Des Moines and surrounding areas in Iowa; regular travel is required.

Job Responsibilities

· Demonstrates a sensitivity to service populations’ cultural and SES characteristics.

· Attend all DHHS and provider key partnership meetings as directed by the Managing Partners

· Be an active member of the agency’s Executive Team

· Demonstrate the ability to supervise and train supervisors and direct care staff

· Be able to write and present professional reports on a monthly basis to the Executive Team, Administrative Team and at Group Supervision(s) as applicable

· Must be able to oversee a team and assign tasks as appropriate

· Must be able to develop, analyze, interpret, and implement policies, practices, and procedures

· Must be able to develop, analyze, interpret, make recommendations on and implement the agency’s quality performance and improvement measures

· Must be willing to travel to satellite offices, DHHS offices and other locations

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Education requirements:

o A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work/Human Services related field from an accredited college/university and ten (10) years’ full-time experience in the Human Services field; and

o Must have five (5) years’ experience in Program Management

· Needs to have excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must be highly organized

· Displays high work ethic
