Receptionist (Milwaukee, WI)
Summary
Direct incoming calls to the appropriate destinations, assist lobby calls with members and visitors determining the nature of their business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to
  • Answers incoming calls; transfers to appropriate individuals
  • Greets and directs walk-ins
  • Sign-in sheet management
  • Sort, open, count and distributes daily mail
  • Mail log entry, daily and weekly recs
  • Daily outgoing mail
  • Reviews and forward daily email submissions
  • Forwards all voicemails to appropriate individuals
  • Monitor Fund email boxes
  • Index documents scanned into OnBase
  • Building requests/issues
  • Website posting/updates and changes
  • Back-up for claims inbox
  • Meeting set-up and clean-up
  • Fold and stuff mailings
  • Supply orders
  • Letters for Claims Department
  • Assists Administrative Assistant with all duties when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
Qualifications - Excellent customer service skills are a must.
Education and/or Experience – High School diploma or GED and at least one year experience with multiple line phone system is necessary.
Language Skills – Must speak clearly and professionally.
Work Environment - Fast paced department. Phone calls are continuous and occasionally unpleasant. Must be able to always maintain a professional demeanor with difficult callers.
Work Schedule - Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Required in office (no at-home days).

Pay
Hourly rate is $17.50 an hour. Actual rate dependent on location, skills, education, experience and other business factors.
