Distinctive Healthcare is currently seeking to hire full time Radiology Tech to work at Offutt AFB.

Responsibilities:
HCW will precept x-ray students and train new personnel as required. HCW will interpret orders, assess clinical history to determine the most effective protocol, understands and screens patients for contraindications prior to contrast use, adjusts imaging parameters, performs digital and 3D reconstructions as required and presents optimal images to radiologist for interpretation as required. HCW will prepare and administer all forms of contrast media and routes of entry as required. HCW will operate, adjust auto injector and injection rates, and inform radiologists when conflicts exist and recognize and respond to contrast reaction as required. HCW must be able to identify abnormalities during examinations and equipment testing, determine need for additional scans of affected areas and notify radiologist of scans requiring immediate attention. HCW will follow Infection Control standards, dispose of medical waste, sharps and disinfect equipment as required by the MTF. HCW shall adhere to all radiation and patient safety practices as required by the MTF. HCW will perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Degree: Certificate.

• Education: Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education

in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

• Certification: Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the specialty

identified in the TO.

• Experience: One year of experience as a radiologic technologist or in the specialty area identified in the

TO
