Quality Technician Expectations:

• Perform in-process inspections, measurements, audit auxiliary equipment to meet or exceed customer specifications.
• Record defects and scrap according to scrap and defects process, rework, labels change, spec sheet and regrind.
• Actively work to minimize Quality Returns, Quality Holds, and Resin Loss.
• Identify/notify leadership of nonconforming product, placing product on hold, and participate in corrective action.
• Assist in qualifications of new bottles and reviewing the requirements with line members.
• Operate and maintain quality equipment (weight scales, leak detectors, etc.).
• Follow all safety procedures to keep a clean area in our active, fast-paced, team environment.
• Communicate openly with managers and teammates in a positive manner.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned and contribute to improvements.
• Compliance to GMP, Food Safety, and Food Quality regulations as required by the company, customers, and/or government agencies.

How do our shifts work? Full time status | 3 Days a Week
Day Shift: 6:45 AM-7:00 PM
Schedule: 3 Days per week and Benefits Eligible
Job Duties:

• Perform in-process inspections, measurements and auxiliary equipment audits
• Confirm packaging and labeling of products
• Record quality verification results and use systems in place
• Ensure non-conforming products be put on hold and reworked before shipping out
• Verify molding machines and supporting all equipment is cleaned according to ISO22000, HACCP and internal food safety cleanliness
• Update quality specification boards to each line
• Assist in new product qualifications and train members on new specifications

Ideal Candidate:

• 18 years or older
• Comfortable lifting up to 30lbs
• High School diploma or equivalent required with advanced technical certificate or formal education preferred.
• Must have 1-3 years of experience in a technical measurement or quality control background or a minimum of 3 months Radius quality experience.
• Demonstrated capability to use computerized programs to navigate and collect data and prepare basic reports.
• Position requires high attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interpret product specifications and technical documents.
• Must be able to read and write in English to accurately identify packing information, follow work instructions and QA alerts.
