Quality Control Final Inspector Cerritos CA

Job Summary: The candidates will be inspecting surface finish (paint, vinyl graphics), the functionality of locks, hinges, levers, etc., and ensuring IT and power components are installed correctly and in good working order. Candidates should also have intermediate computer skills, as they will be working with MS Office applications and our ERP system.

Hours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00HR DOE

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain quality standards by reviewing and approving incoming materials, in-process production and finished products; record quality results. Re-inspected any previously identified defects for improved quality standards before shipment to customer
• Review job specifications to ensure finished kiosks are assembled and integrated with the correct hardware and IT components
• Inspect the surface finish of completed kiosks to ensure they are the correct color, and free from dents, scratches, scuffs, or other blemishes
• Test functionality of installed hardware, including locks, latches, hinges, etc.
• Inspect installation and functionality of IT components, including cables and power management devices
• Reject units that do not meet the company's quality standards; document reason(s) for rejection, and inform appropriate parties
• Complete final inspection report, and notify appropriate parties when inspection is complete
• Ensure inspection work is done effectively, efficiently, and thoroughly
• Assist outgoing and/or incoming inspection

Education and Experience

• Two years of related experience
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must be detail oriented.
• Computer Savvy
