Responsibilities:
- Ensure Health, Safety, and Sustainability has the highest priority in all activities undertaken by engineering and design personnel
- Develop, execute, supervise, and coordinate all technical aspects of the work safely with primary focus on the integrity/quality of the engineering/design while achieving schedule and budget objectives
- Plan and co-ordinate multi-discipline engineering design assignments within and across disciplines, including multidiscipline technical issues and single discipline technical issues that have the potential to impact overall project progress
- Plan and manage engineering systems implementation. Drive a data centric and integrated approach to the use of our engineering systems commensurate with the requirements of the Contract and at a level that would benefit the project execution
- Ensure that deliverables are developed in a consistent and reliable manner so that the quality can be assured and the customer confident in the design
- Facilitate development of project schedules & TIC, as well as mange projects to them. Understand principles of cash flow & cost management
- Strong understanding of Contracts & key requirements to deliver per contract
- Understand & preferably have experience with global / distributed project delivery, appreciate requirements for Margin Improvements, Lean Execution mentality and Value Addition
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with customer management teams
- Act as key technical interface with the customer
- Manage technical Value Improvement Processes (VIPs)
- Manage the initial researching of lessons learned and promote the ongoing capture of new engineering lessons learned during the project
- Represent engineering at the highest level of the project and participate in inter-function coordination and meeting
Education/Experience:
- BS or MS in Engineering / Construction or related field
- 10 or more years of relevant industry experience in development and execution of major capital oil and gas infrastructure projects and 5 or more years of experience as a project manager
This position requires candidates to:
- Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training which would involve some overnight stays away from home.
- Knowledge and working experience with applicable US codes/standards for facility design/construction;
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to provide and present timely and relevant feedback/reporting to various stakeholders;
- Exercise leadership and teamwork with various internal and external stakeholders without formal authority
- Demonstrated success working in a complex, geographically-dispersed team environment;
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- On-site and/or in-refinery experience preferred

- Oil and Gas experience
- Saudi Aramco experience
- Carbon Capture experience
